Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Graphics Technician/Sign Graphics Specialist to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, producing, and managing high-quality visual graphics and signage that effectively communicate brand messages and enhance visual environments. Your expertise in digital art, print design, and sign manufacturing will be essential to delivering compelling visual solutions across various media. Responsibilities
- Creating, Preparing, and Modifying graphic layouts for roadway and traffic signs in accordance with the applicable standards and specifications.
- Ensuring that all graphics are accurate, legible, and compliant prior to sending to print or fabrication.
- Create and edit sign layouts using graphic design software.
- Ensure all sign designs are compliant with MUTCD and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with print and fabrication teams to resolve any design issues.
- Review work orders and translate specifications into accurate sign graphics.
- Maintain organized project files, adhere to production schedules, and ensure all designs meet technical specifications for print.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree or Certificate in graphic design preferred.
- Experience with sign graphics, print production, or technical design preferred.
- Proficiency in vector-based design software.
- Ability to follow technical standards and detailed specifications.
- Basic understanding of print processes and materials
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly to clients or team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail in both digital and physical production environments.
Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
