Position Overview:
As a Server at Miel de Agave, you are responsible for creating an elevated guest experience from beginning to end. Servers must be polished, attentive, knowledgeable, and confident on the floor.
We are looking for someone who understands hospitality beyond simply taking orders. Our servers should be able to guide guests through the menu, recommend cocktails and agave spirits, manage their section with confidence, and make each guest feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.
Responsibilities
- Greet every guest with warmth, professionalism, and confidence.
- Provide complete table service from arrival to departure.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the food menu, cocktails, tequila, mezcal, wine, specials, allergens, and pairings.
- Guide guests through the Miel de Agave experience with thoughtful recommendations.
- Take accurate orders and communicate clearly with the kitchen, bar, runners, bussers, hosts, and managers.
- Maintain full ownership of your section, including table maintenance, prebussing, timing, refills, guest check-ins, and overall presentation.
- Handle guest requests, questions, and concerns with care and professionalism.
- Stay present and aware on the floor during service.
- Support teammates when needed to maintain smooth restaurant flow.
- Follow all company service standards, alcohol service policies, and safety procedures.
- Help create a high-energy, polished, and memorable dining experience for every guest.
What We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate is polished, professional, reliable, and passionate about hospitality. We are looking for servers who can perform in a fast-paced environment while maintaining elegance, warmth, and attention to detail.
Ideal candidates should have:
- Previous serving experience in an elevated, high-volume, fine dining, cocktail-forward, or upscale restaurant environment.
- Strong hospitality skills and a guest-first mindset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- Confidence with menu knowledge, upselling, and recommendations.
- The ability to stay calm, organized, and professional under pressure.
- A polished appearance and professional attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and urgency during service.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and high-volume shifts.
- Food handler and alcohol service certifications
- +3 up of experience.
