JOB SUMMARY
The Full-time Custodial Maintenance Tech position is responsible to the Maintenance Technician - Lead for the daily cleaning of the Church’s facilities: including normal cleaning activities of all church buildings, sanitizing, cleaning, and restocking restrooms, vacuuming and mopping all flooring, deep cleaning of specific areas including the kitchen, collecting and removing trash, using light cleaning machinery, cleaning of interior and exterior windows and doors, setting-up or tearing-down for meetings and events, and any other tasks as directed by their supervisor. This involves communicating with Maintenance Technician Lead and Executive Pastor in regard to planning facility needs and implementing cleaning building procedures. The purpose is to execute tasks that will result in a well-maintained, safe, and clean facility for the ministries’ guests and members.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
· High School or GED Diploma
· Minimum of 1-year experience preferred in janitorial or custodial duties.
· Knowledge of cleaning skills, including but not limited to the following: ability to safely understand and use cleaning chemicals, attention to detail in tasks, ability to multi-task and complete duties in a timely manner, act with integrity at all times, and follow established cleaning procedures.
· Ability to safely lift and pull up to 40-50 pounds.
· Ability to work independently and with other employees.
· Willingness to be on-call to respond to emergencies, as needed

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
