Position Summary
The Exterior Maintenance Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of all outdoor areas of the property. This role focuses on exterior building care, grounds cleanliness, and routine upkeep to ensure a welcoming and well‑maintained environment for residents, guests, and staff.
Responsibilities

Clean and maintain exterior building areas including walkways, stairwells, walls, and entryways.

Sweep, pressure wash, and remove debris from sidewalks, patios, and outdoor common areas.

Empty and maintain outdoor trash and recycling containers.

Perform light groundskeeping tasks such as raking, trimming, and clearing overgrowth.

Clean exterior light fixtures and replace bulbs as needed.

Regularly inspect outdoor areas for safety hazards or needed repairs and report issues promptly.

Assist with basic outdoor maintenance projects, storm preparation, and seasonal cleanup.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of outdoor storage and maintenance areas.

Support occasional indoor housekeeping tasks as needed.
Qualifications

Previous experience in exterior maintenance, housekeeping, custodial work, or groundskeeping (preferred).

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and outdoor tools.

Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Preferred Skills

Experience using pressure washers, blowers, or basic landscaping equipment.

Basic understanding of exterior building maintenance.

Ability to identify safety hazards and report issues quickly.
Availability

Full-time.

Weekends required.

Occasional holiday or extended-hour support during peak seasons.
Work Environment
