Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and field service experience. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC equipment across various properties, ensuring optimal indoor air quality and system efficiency. Candidates with experience in refrigeration, plumbing, boiler systems, and property maintenance are highly encouraged to apply. A valid driver’s license is required for this position. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately install or service systems
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety standards
- Conduct service calls for property maintenance related to HVAC/R systems and appliance repair
- Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment
- Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, fans, motors, and control systems
- Weld or perform other equipment repair techniques as needed for system integrity
- Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems including ammonia refrigeration setups when applicable
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of work performed
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
Skills
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician in construction or property maintenance environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans
- Experience with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus
- Skilled in plumbing, boiler operation, welding, and general equipment repair
- Familiarity with air conditioning systems, HVAC/R technology, and appliance repair techniques
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively
- Knowledge of field service procedures and property maintenance practices
- Valid driver’s license (PERSON driver preferred) for travel between job sites
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
