Responsibilities
- Support delivery drivers by helping load furniture into trucks and securing cargo for transit
- Help with inventory management, including sorting, stacking, and organizing products within the warehouse
- Assist in route driving as needed, supporting delivery drivers with timely pickups and drop-offs of merchandise.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by communicating professionally with clients and addressing their needs
- Perform manual lifting of heavy items safely to prevent injury while moving goods throughout the warehouse or to delivery destinations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment or similar setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial vehicles is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual moving tasks regularly throughout the shift
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally during deliveries
- Comfortable route driving, including navigating urban or rural areas efficiently and safely
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
