Hawaiʻi Island Community Health Center is seeking a 340B Specialist to support day-to-day operations of the 340B Program. This entry-level pharmacy role focuses on procurement, inventory management, and compliance activities while ensuring adherence to 340B Program regulations and organizational protocols.

Support 340B program operations to ensure compliance with federal and organizational guidelines

Assist with medication procurement, inventory tracking, and supply distribution across clinic locations

Coordinate deliveries, verify tracking, and communicate with patients and clinic staff

Monitor inventory levels, conduct physical counts, and resolve discrepancies

Maintain accurate, auditable records (invoices, usage reports, inventory systems)

Ensure medications are stored and handled in accordance with safety and compliance standards

Participate in audits to ensure 340B compliance and prevent diversion or duplicate discounts

Provide cross-coverage support within pharmacy services as needed

High School diploma or GED

Ability to obtain Hawaiʻi Pharmacy Technician registration within 90 days of hire

Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills

Experience as a pharmacy technician or in a healthcare setting

Knowledge of 340B Program, HRSA guidelines, or pharmacy inventory systems

Experience with procurement, inventory management, or data analysis

Familiarity with medical terminology

Completion of 340B University training within 3 months of hire

Valid Hawaiʻi driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance

Ability to travel island-wide for deliveries and clinic support

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Clinic and office-based setting with occasional travel
