We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Kennel Technician to provide high-quality care to the animals in our facility. This role involves animal handling, cleaning, monitoring behavior, and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment. Ideal for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a physically active role.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care, including feeding, watering, and enrichment
- Clean and disinfect kennels, yards, and common areas
- Observe animal behavior and report concerns
- Assist with bathing and basic grooming
- Maintain accurate records
- Work safely with dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments
- Support staff and follow all protocols
- Be available for occasional on-call shifts
Schedule & Benefits
- Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays | 8 AM–4:30 PM
- Two paid 10-minute breaks + 30-min unpaid lunch
- $16.90/hour
- 40 hours of sick pay after probation

Requirements
- 18+ years old
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet
- Reliable transportation
- Animal care experience preferred
