Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete finishing to ensure structural integrity and quality standards are met.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and concrete mixers safely and efficiently on various construction sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support accurate project execution.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as masonry units, metal studs, and roofing components while maintaining safety protocols.
- Support carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, framing, and stucco application to enhance building aesthetics and durability.
- Conduct demolition, restoration work, or renovation tasks as directed by supervisors to meet project timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by managing materials, tools, and debris throughout each phase of construction.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of various construction trades such as masonry, roofing, framing (including metal stud framing), plastering, tile laying, flooring installation, and caulking.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking; ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience is a plus for site transportation needs.
