WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a CT Technologist for a local contract opportunity with a leading healthcare facility. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced imaging environment, delivering high-quality diagnostic services while collaborating with a dedicated clinical team.
Job Function:

Select appropriate technical factors to perform high-quality CT examinations.
- Establish IV access and administer contrast media as required.
- Manage medications, including proper storage, rotation, and temperature monitoring.
- Prepare and administer oral contrast for imaging procedures.
- Utilize PACS to complete, review, and transmit imaging studies and documentation.
- Perform image reconstruction and post-processing according to established protocols.
- Dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with CDC and OSHA guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and hospital safety standards, including radiation, electrical, and mechanical safety.
Job Requirements:

Graduate of an approved school for Radiologic Technology.
- Licensed for New York State in Radiologic technology including permit for injections. Registered or eligible by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; advanced certification preferred.
- Required 2 plus years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Understands written and verbal instructions.
- Manual dexterity for manipulating function of equipment.
