Job Summary
Join our team as a Roofing & Solar Project Consultant, where you'll be at the forefront of driving growth and delivering exceptional, ministry-minded service to our community. This energetic role empowers you to connect deeply with clients, understand their needs, and present tailored roofing and solar solutions that protect and enhance their properties.
As a key player in our sales force, you'll leverage your business development, relationship-building, and technical sales skills to expand our market presence and build lasting customer relationships. Your enthusiasm, ethical approach, and proactive drive will help us achieve new heights while providing valuable, honest support to homeowners and commercial clients alike.
Duties & Responsibilities

- Outside Sales & Prospecting: Actively engage in outside sales activities by prospecting new clients through lead generation, community networking, and strategic territory management to expand our customer base.
- Consultative Product Demos: Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and technical presentations to educate clients on high-quality roofing options, materials, solar integration, and installation processes.
- Faith-Driven Customer Service: Manage existing accounts with a focus on servant leadership, ensuring ultimate client satisfaction through timely follow-ups and personalized, honest solutions.
- Contract Negotiation: Confidently negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring transparent, mutually beneficial agreements that align with company policies and ethical sales targets.
- Pipeline Management: Utilize our CRM software to accurately track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous professional improvement.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our project and production teams to coordinate roofing installations, ensuring smooth, seamless communication from the initial inspection through final project completion.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Driven individuals with experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or customer-facing roles are highly preferred. Experience in the construction or roofing industry is a major plus, but we provide comprehensive training for the right cultural fit.
- Core Skills: Demonstrated success in self-motivated business development, lead generation, and territory relationship management.
- Negotiation & Trust: Excellent negotiation and communication skills coupled with a customer-first mindset to foster lifelong relationships built on trust.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM software and standard mobile applications to manage your sales pipeline and track data.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to assess neighborhood storm data, identify community needs, and develop targeted sales tactics.
- Physical Capability: Ability to confidently perform product demos, lift/climb a ladder, and inspect roofs.
- Mobility: A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (truck or SUV preferred) to travel within our assigned service territory regularly.
