POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounting Clerk plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the laboratory’s financial and operational workflows. This position is responsible for overseeing invoicing and purchasing as well assisting with sample reception.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Laboratory Financials and Procurement
- Generate sales orders that pull data from a variety of sources with strong attention to detail
- Handle large data sets with Microsoft Excel and/or additional data management software
- Keep organized files which will support ISO17025 audits
- Assists with ordering and receiving supplies and consumables
- Assist in preparation of expense reports
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Sample Reception Support
- Serve as a specialist for designated high-priority workflows within sample reception
- Provide backup support for general sample reception functions as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience
