FULL -TIME HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR
Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager/Director to lead our Skilled Nursing Home Facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring the organization is equipped with the necessary talent and resources to achieve its goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of managing various HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws.
Duties
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Assist in and eventually oversee talent acquisition processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage and Direct employee orientation programs to ensure smooth onboarding experiences.
- Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Ensure compliance with FMLA, OSHA, and other employment laws and regulations.
- Handle conflict management and employee relations issues effectively.
- Administer benefits programs and manage payroll processes.
- Conduct employee evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead organizational design efforts to optimize workforce structure.
- Implement strategic planning initiatives related to human capital management.
- Utilize HRIS systems such as Viventium, SBV, or ADP for data collection and analysis.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on succession planning and organizational changes.
- Manage contracts related to HR services and ensure process improvement across all HR functions.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, including FMLA and workers' compensation regulations.
- Proven negotiation skills in various HR contexts.
- Experience in supervising teams and managing performance management systems.
- Proficiency in HR sourcing techniques and talent management strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes related to HR functions.
- Ability to analyze data for informed decision-making in HR practices.
- Experience with various HR software systems
- Strong presentation skills for conveying information clearly during meetings or training sessions.
