Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dump Truck Driver with at least two years of hands-on driving experience to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Safely operate dump trucks to move materials around construction sites.
- Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and weight limits.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation to maintain safety standards.
- Assist with site preparation activities by supporting other heavy equipment operators as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of materials transported, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize workflow.
Skills
- Proven experience operating dump trucks with at least two years of commercial driving background.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, water trucks, tankers, horizontal drilling machinery, and paving equipment.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and report issues effectively.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety procedures.
- Knowledge of construction materials handling and transportation logistics.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site supervisors.
