Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including dozers, skid loaders, and excavators on construction sites.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to complete construction projects efficiently and within deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation with a focus on construction site experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of heavy machinery.
- Experience with commercial driving is preferred; valid driver's license required.
- Familiarity with various types of machinery including Caterpillar equipment, farm machinery.
- Ability to operate multiple types of heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and dump trucks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
