Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Janitorial professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, as well as basic maintenance tasks to support the overall functionality of the premises.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, window cleaning, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Conduct industrial cleaning activities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Washing, drying, folding, ironing, hanging towels and linens.
- Act as a porter by managing waste disposal and ensuring cleanliness in high-traffic areas.
- Set up and take down chairs and tables for events. Cleaning event spaces before and after events.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in basic janitorial roles is required. References required and will be contacted.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Must have reliable transportation.
