SKILLS: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree is required.
Minimum one year experience in: (1) designing, developing or providing educational or training services in formal education or training programs that require knowledge of learning theory and the principles, methods, practices and techniques of the education or training instructional systems field; (2) performing duties such as planning, coordinating and developing components of a training program; developing, reviewing and revising instructional materials for courses or occupations in accordance with specific learning objectives; developing, reviewing or evaluating all aspects of education or training programs for support of an institutional or occupational training program; solving a wide range of educational and training program problems; or providing advice to key officials on all aspects of policy, planning, review, and research related to instructional or training development mission at the level of the assigned activity; and/or (3) comprehensive background in developing training materials and courseware with various forms of multi-media.
Experience using MSWord, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Articulate (Storyline 3 or Storyline 360), Adobe Captivate and Creative Suite, and Camtasia.
Must demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work independently or under general direction. Specialized knowledge of FAA systems, equipment, procedures, and operations is highly desired. Must be able to obtain Public Trust Security clearance.
