Drunken Smithy is a unique artisan business in Central Pennsylvania. We offer hands-on blacksmithing and crafting experiences that give people from all backgrounds the opportunity to step into the forge, create something with their own hands, and have a great time. In addition to our workshops, we operate a retail store featuring items crafted in-house and an axe throwing venue located inside the Lebanon Valley Mall.
Our Mead Hall features handcrafted meads and hard ciders brewed on site, as well as food service and rotating weekly entertainment.
Job Description
Drunken Smithy is seeking a reliable Part-Time Cleaning Technician to help maintain our Mead Hall and winery facilities. This role focuses on deep cleaning and equipment sanitation in a food and beverage environment. We are looking for a reliable and trainable individual to perform thorough cleaning responsibilities. There may be possible growth opportunities to learn brewing.
Job Title: Cleaning Technician
Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Part-time (approximately 4hrs per week). Ideal for someone seeking supplemental income.
Pay: $20 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Deep cleaning to include floors, walls, shelving and other areas
- Deep cleaning of kitchen and bar equipment
- Clean turbo fryer and change oil
- Clean sump pump
- Change filters in fryer and other equipment as needed
Requirements:
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Must demonstrate a high level of reliability and consistency in workplace performance
- Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to bend to clean under equipment and climb or reach to clean high areas.
- Availability: Must be available to work Monday mornings when the winery is closed.
