Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Siding Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing various types of exterior siding on residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise will help enhance the durability, energy efficiency, and aesthetic appeal of our clients’ properties. Responsibilities
- Measure and cut siding materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit and finish.
- Install various siding materials such as vinyl, metal, stucco, or fiber cement according to project specifications and blueprints.
- Read schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to determine the correct installation procedures and material requirements.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and framing as needed using carpentry and framing skills.
- Use caulking, trim carpentry, and masonry techniques to ensure seamless transitions and weatherproofing around windows, doors, and corners.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols on the construction site.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction installation work, particularly siding or exterior finishing projects.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and other construction equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to siding installation.
- Familiarity with related trades such as roofing, framing carpentry, stucco application, masonry, plumbing, or restoration work is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes for material needs and project timelines.
- Prior experience working on construction sites with exposure to roofing, remodeling, or handyman tasks is advantageous.
