American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric/Adolescent Psychiatric position requiring prior pediatric psych experience and phlebotomy skills on a 3rd shift schedule.

Pediatric and adolescent inpatient psychiatric and residential treatment facility setting

3rd shift only

Patient population consists of pediatric and adolescent psychiatric residents

Phlebotomy, including blood draws on pediatric and adolescent patients, is required as part of the role

Active NH or Compact RN license required

Current BLS certification required

Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required

Previous pediatric psychiatric nursing experience required

Phlebotomy experience required, including comfort performing blood draws on pediatric and adolescent patients

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Administer medications and medical treatments under the direction of the Nurse Manager

Participates in comprehensive, multi-disciplinary treatment planning for residents

Utilizes the nursing process within a Practice Model framework to guide daily care

Two professional references from managers are required for consideration
