Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and an eye for detail, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests or clients, whether in a hotel, industrial setting, or hospitality venue.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Manage housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and changing linens.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
- Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the facility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards is a plus.
- Must be physically capable of performing cleaning duties, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
- Weekends and holidays are required.
