Job Responsibilities:
- Daily Financial Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting functions including Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), invoicing, and bank reconciliations to ensure complete and accurate financial data.
- General Ledger & Review: Oversight and review of daily bookkeeping entries to guarantee alignment with internal corporate controls and standardized accounting practices.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements (Income Statement, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet) in strict compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Compliance & Tax: Support annual corporate audits, corporate tax filings, and payroll administration, ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Fixed Asset Management: Maintain and track MKK’s fixed asset ledger and depreciation schedules, ensuring all physical logistics assets match financial records.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Liaise and coordinate communications between our U.S. and China-based teams to ensure timely financial reporting and multi-regional alignment.
- Budgeting & Intercompany Reconciliations: Assist upper management with budget controls, financial analysis, and reconciliation with subsidiaries, affiliates, and business partners.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting or corporate finance experience in the United States. CPA firm experience or trucking/logistics industry experience is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related business field from an accredited U.S. institution.
- Licensure: CPA or CMA license (or actively pursuing) is a significant plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in the full-cycle accounting process (bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, payroll, and corporate tax compliance).
- Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP with the ability to independently prepare and interpret complex financial statements.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, ADP, MS Excel for high-volume data management and financial analysis.
- Languages: Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is HIGHLY PREFERRED to successfully collaborate with cross-border teams and stakeholders.
