Patient Concierge & Dental Assistant
Confidential Dental Practice | Northern Colorado | Full-Time
Are you a detail-oriented dental assistant who enjoys the clinical side of dentistry but also loves helping patients navigate their treatment from start to finish? Do you naturally stay organized, follow up on the details, and think several steps ahead? If you're looking for a practice that prioritizes quality care, meaningful patient relationships, and a personalized experience, we'd love to meet you.
We are a privately owned, fee-for-service dental practice committed to providing exceptional patient care. We schedule ample time with each patient, emphasize comprehensive treatment, and believe that every interaction should leave patients feeling informed, supported, and valued. We're looking for someone who shares those values and enjoys playing an integral role in the patient experience.
About the Role
This is not a traditional dental assisting position. You'll serve as the clinical right hand to the doctor during comprehensive new patient exams while also acting as a key point of contact throughout each patient's treatment journey. You'll need to be just as comfortable chairside as you are coordinating treatment plans, communicating with patients, and preparing professional correspondence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the doctor during dental procedures and comprehensive new patient examinations while anticipating clinical needs and ensuring every detail is documented accurately.
- Maintaining thorough clinical notes and organized patient records, including entering treatment, creating planned appointments, and preparing treatment plans as directed by the doctor.
- Preparing referral and correspondence letters for referring providers and specialists.
- Presenting and coordinating treatment plans in a warm, confident, and educational manner.
- Following up with patients regarding outstanding treatment, referrals, and questions.
- Serving as a patient concierge throughout complex or multi-phase treatment plans.
- Supporting the treatment presentation process and helping patients understand their options and next steps.
- Collaborating closely with the administrative team to ensure scheduling and financial discussions transition smoothly.
You Are the Right Fit If You:
- Have at least two years of dental assisting experience (required).
- Have experience presenting treatment plans (preferred).
- Are genuinely detail-oriented and take pride in accurate documentation.
- Communicate with patients in a compassionate, professional manner.
- Value thorough charting and high clinical standards.
- Enjoy building relationships and helping patients feel comfortable throughout their care.
- Can transition seamlessly between clinical and administrative responsibilities.
- Thrive in a collaborative, high-trust team environment.
- Have excellent written communication skills and can prepare professional correspondence with minimal direction.
What Makes This Different
We are a fee-for-service, out-of-network practice that prioritizes personalized care over production quotas. Our doctors spend meaningful time with each patient, and this role exists to ensure every patient receives an exceptional experience from their first visit through the completion of treatment. Rather than rushing from patient to patient, you'll have the opportunity to provide thoughtful, relationship-focused care in an environment that values quality and attention to detail.
We offer:
- Competitive compensation based on experience.
- A supportive and collaborative team culture.
- A modern practice that values clinical excellence and outstanding patient service.
