QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree (in criminal justice-related field preferred)

Law enforcement or security experience required

Proficient with PCs, tablets, and other mobile electronic devices

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and cloud-based applications

Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed

Effective interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES: The work hours for the West Campus position are 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. The work hours for the East Campus position are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Safety Monitor
SALARY & BENEFITS: Hourly rate ranges from $23.41 to $26.49 based on experience and level of education, per the ESP Salary Schedule Appendix B (Safety and Security) in the District 108 Negotiated Agreement. This is a benefits-eligible position including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF).
