Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Service Manager to lead our service operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of vehicles or equipment, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Supervise daily service operations, coordinating repairs and maintenance tasks to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Lead and motivate a team of technicians and service staff, fostering a collaborative and energetic work environment
- Ensure all service procedures comply with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe workplace for everyone
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues, plan repairs, and optimize service workflows
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters to perform diagnostics and repairs accurately
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, and vehicle or equipment histories for accountability and quality control
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain services performed, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction
Experience
- Proven experience in vehicle maintenance or equipment servicing with a strong mechanical background
- Hands-on familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments such as ohmmeters
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing a team within a fast-paced service environment
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to mechanical work and vehicle or equipment repair processes
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and technical expertise
- Prior experience in managing service schedules, parts inventory, and customer interactions is preferred
