Hughes Bros. is seeking an Experienced Estimator/Project Manager for primarily Commercial Sitework Projects, but including Municipal and Residential Projects in the Bangor Region. This individual must be ambitious, organized, pay close attention to detail, and be able to actively remain in control of projects they accurately undertake, and participate in the operations of the division and company as a whole.
We work within a 30-40 Mile radius, so you will always be home at night to spend time with your family.
10-15 Years Industry Experience in a Leadership Role Preferred
3 Years Estimating/Project Managing Preferred
Construction Management and Engineering Graduates are Encouraged to Apply
This is a full-time, year round position.
Summary of Duties:
- Customers - Develop relationships and provide customer satisfaction with high quality work, meeting the expectations of customers on every project.
- Safety - Know, Understand, Communicate, and Ensure Compliance with Safety Regulations
- Bid Preparation, Project Management, and Risk Management
- Leadership & Supervision - Able to apply company policies, able to lead crews in an organized and efficient manner.
- Planning & Scheduling - Project scheduling, material ordering and other tasks associated with the efficiency of the project.
- Quality Control -Site visits and daily tasks or meetings to assure a quality product.
- Care of Equipment & Assets – Oversee equipment is being cared for properly to limit unnecessary damage or failures.
- Candidate shall possess a valid driver's license
- Candidate shall be proficient in communication, mathematics, and proficient in computer applications such as microsoft word, excel, and outlook
- Candidate shall meet the physical demands of the work
