The person(s) in this position will be in charge of receiving and processing inbound material, loading and unloading trucks (with forklifts and by hand), and filling outbound orders. They will be required to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Job Duties:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand jacks
- Receive, unload, and process inbound deliveries
- Unload, load, and secure trucks for deliveries
- Prep. holding tanks for inbound deliveries
- Basic Mechanic Skills - ie. change tires on trucks, oil changes, batteries, etc.
- Maintain inventory for proper reordering schedule
- General plant maintenance
- Follow all proper safety procedures and rules
Proffered Competencies:
- Prior warehousing experience
- Forklift experience
- Mechanical / electrical abilities
- Organizational skills and cleanliness
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Knowledge of inventory procedures is a plus
