As a Kitchen/Millwork Designer, you will guide clients through the entire design process, from initial layout concepts to final installation, ensuring each project reflects their unique style and needs. Your passion for high-end design and construction will help us create beautiful, unique, efficient kitchens and custom cabinetry in the most beautiful spaces in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for kitchen renovations and remodeling projects.
- Develop detailed layout designs using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software (Mozaik) and SketchUp to visualize concepts clearly.
- Present product demos and lighting design options, upselling premium features to enhance the overall aesthetic and functionality.
- Manage the sales process from inside sales to deal closing, ensuring customer satisfaction at every step.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution and timely completion.
- Conduct product merchandising and marketing efforts to showcase kitchen solutions effectively within the showroom or retail environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering technical advice on renovation and maintenance, and handling POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in kitchen or interior design with a strong background in layout design, and custom remodeling projects.
- Skilled in CAD software, SketchUp, and other technical tools used for space planning and visualization.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal closing in high-end sales environments.
- Knowledge of construction processes, renovation practices, and construction sales strategies.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate design ideas clearly and foster positive client relationships.

Pay: $54,091.17 - $72,000.00 per year
