Duties and Responsibilities
● Ensure safe working procedures and company policies are always practiced by employees/direct reports. Employees must fully understand and accept that safety is each own persons’ responsibility. Safety is a condition of employment. Insist on strict adherence to safety standards and always ensure good housekeeping and EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) conditions across the department.
● Assist Maintenance Supervisor, work order management, preventative/predictive maintenance, and spare part management.
● Has a deep and detailed understanding of all electrical documentation and spare parts needed in the plant (for process and auxiliar equipment).
● Oversees and plans daily activities of the electrical maintenance personnel; to assure effectiveness and high quality of work done.
● Assist with Maintenance Supervisor to be responsible for troubleshooting faulty equipment/systems, this responsibility includes “on call” status for emergency repair during off shift hours.
● Requests, schedules, and oversees the activities of electrical contractors working throughout the facility.
● Responsible for the repair, upgrade, and the preventive maintenance of production machinery.
● Responsible to make a weekly report of the activities of the Electrical Department, accomplishments, major problems and solutions to the Senior Manager of Engineering and Maintenance.
● Responsible for the delivery of quality service to the production floor in timely bases to minimize the loss of efficiency and productivity.
● Train electricians on electrical automatization equipment and troubleshooting (PLCs, VFDs…)
● Manage the functions of the electrical technicians that mainly respond to instrumentation, motion controls, PLC’s, etc. troubleshooting!
● Personally provide general plant Maintenance support when needed.
● Contribute to developing a strong, responsive technical team that can support the needs of the Bridgewater Plant through training support and policy compliance.
● Foster a culture of creative problem-solving, and continuous innovation anticipating market needs and continually driving performance optimization.
● Perform any other duties or serve in such other capacity as may be determined by Company management.
Qualifications
● Education: BS degree Electrical Engineering preferred but not required.
● Experience: 5 + years’ experience in industrial Electrical field, additionally 1-3 years of Supervision required.
● Specialized knowledge: Emphasis on Controls, VFDs, PLCs, electrical blueprints
● Must have strong leadership skills in a technical environment; a self-starter that is highly organized and responsible.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
