Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Handyman/Laborer to join our shop maintenance team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks located at our shop Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will ensure that our facility operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Duties
- Perform welding, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and general handyman tasks to improve property condition.
- Troubleshoot electrical equipment issues, utilizing tools such as ohmmeters and following electrical schematics for accurate diagnostics.
- Maintain and repair building systems including plumbing, HVAC, electrical wiring, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Supervise or assist with the installation of new equipment or infrastructure projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally during facility repairs or upgrades.
Requirements
- Skilled in welding, plumbing system maintenance, HVAC system repair, and residential painting.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for coordinating projects or team tasks.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining safety standards.
