Commonwealth Primary Care, Inc. is seeking a Nurse (LPN, RN or MA) to work in a full time position in our West End practice. This is for our Richmond Primary Care practice.
Desiring well rounded professional with a strong and stable work history and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers. Experience in a physician practice or clinic setting is required.
Summary of Duties
1. Assesses patient's general condition and takes vital signs and weight.
2. Assists physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments.
3. Provides basic patient care as ordered.
4. Documents all activities/interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed, etc., in the medical record.
5. Promotes wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions.
6. Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines, and confidentiality policies.
Qualifications
· Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant.
· Experience in a Primary Care setting (preferred) medical practice or clinic.
· Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
This role may be filled at the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse level with a salary range of $17.00 - $35.00 hourly. Actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate's licensure, experience, and qualifications.
