Mad Science of Colorado is hiring PART TIME instructors to conduct hands-on After School Programs in various schools in the DBoulder area. Instructors will conduct after school classes 2 days per week depending on availability. Therefore, afternoon availability between 2:30 and 4:30 pm is required.
Pay $25-33/hour for each 1.5-2 hour shift. Training is paid. Mileage too!
Specifically looking for instructors who:
- Are located in the Boulder/Superior area.
- Are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:30 - 4:30 PM.
- Have prior classroom experience or a demonstrated ability to independently manage and teach a group of up to 20 children on their own.
- Can commit to at least the Fall season (end of August to December).
- Are available to begin assignments as soon as possible.

We love to have energetic instructors with flexible schedules who are available in the afternoon from approximately 2:30 to 4:30 PM. This is an approximation of the time window that the right candidates will have.
The instructors will be teaching at schools, fun science hands-on classes. It's a perfect job if you are looking for something part-time. Each 1.5-2 hour shift pays $25-33/hour. There is only 1 class assigned a day (minimum 2 classes in a week).
We provide our amazing instructors with curriculum & classroom management training, science kits with equipment and manuals, guidance & support, good compensation, AND we pay mileage (if applicable per the company policy).
We may also invite you to teach art programs at Imagine Arts Academy, our sister brand, if you're interested and available.

Our instructors have very varied backgrounds! We have college students, retired folks, those with teaching/childcare experience, and the list goes on.
The main qualities we look for in applicants:

- Clear and punctual communication skills
- Enjoy and have experience working with school-aged children (5-11 years grades K-5th)
- Required to have a dependable car
