Duties
- Prepare and cook kettle corn using specialized equipment, ensuring consistent quality and flavor.
- Follow established recipes meticulously to maintain product standards across high-volume production.
- Package finished products efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including popcorn machines, mixers, and other culinary tools.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Assist with food handling and other food production tasks as needed to support overall kitchen operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions about products, and ensuring a positive experience.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation/cooking within the food industry or restaurant setting.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to hygiene standards.
- Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistency in high-volume production environments.
- Excellent attention to detail in packaging, and food handling tasks.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing portion sizes.
- Customer service skills to interact positively with customers and address their inquiries confidently.
- Experience with catering or large-scale food production is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential!
