Mavericks Barbershop is expanding, and we’re looking for skilled barbers to join our Hillcrest and Pacific Beach location as 1099 independent contractors.
Mavericks operates as a platform — we provide the space, clients, systems, and operational support so you can focus on your craft. With a strong membership base and high daily demand, our barbers step into a full schedule without having to build from scratch.
With two additional San Diego locations opening early this year, this is a great opportunity for barbers looking for consistent work in a professionally run environment.

Compensation Structure
- Earn 50% of service revenue generated from your work
- Keep 100% of your tips

Contractor Requirements
- 1099 independent contractor status
- Active California barber or cosmetology license
- Professional liability insurance (required)
- Minimum 2 years of barbering experience preferred
- Professional, reliable, and client-focused
