Teacher, Speech & Language Pathology

Minimum Requirements (Education/Experience)
Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology. Holds a Florida Department of Education Certification in Speech Correction or is eligible for a Florida Department of Education Certification in Speech Language Impaired or holds a Florida Licensure for Speech Language Pathology. Optional: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds.

Special Notes
Speech Language Pathologist License or certification is required. This position is a part of a two-year grant. The purpose of this position is to provide additional support for CCPS Pre-K programs, particularly the Pre-K evaluation team assisting in child find, participating in evaluation results and IEP development and meetings. This position will be part of a team working with the existing Pre-K evaluation team members and will provide evaluation, consultation, direct services, as well as teacher training and support for oral language development in the classroom.. Experience working with Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten age children is preferred.
