We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and products to various locations. This is a vital role in our company as you will be the face of our organization to our customers.
Duties:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles such as vans, tractor-trailers, or refrigerated trailers
- Load and unload goods and products from the vehicle
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Ensure proper handling and storage of delivered items
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 50lbs)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with local roads and routes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
