Experienced Commercial Plumber Wanted — Build and Lead Our New
Commercial Plumbing Division
We are a large, established residential plumbing contractor looking to expand
aggressively into commercial plumbing. We currently handle a small number of
commercial projects, but we are ready to grow that side of the business into a full
commercial plumbing division.
To do that, we are looking for the right person: an experienced commercial plumber who
wants more than just another job. We are looking for someone who can help us build,
lead, and eventually manage an entire commercial plumbing division.
About the Opportunity
This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity with an established company that already
has the systems, customer base, reputation, equipment, and support staff in place. We
need a strong commercial plumbing professional who understands commercial work
and wants the chance to take ownership of building something bigger.
The right candidate will start by performing and overseeing commercial plumbing
projects, helping us improve our commercial estimating, job planning, staffing, material
ordering, and field execution. As the division grows, this person will move into a
leadership role managing crews, projects, customers, and the overall commercial
plumbing operation.
Responsibilities
- Performing and overseeing commercial plumbing work
- Helping build out our commercial plumbing systems, standards, and processes
- Reading plans, layouts, and specifications
- Assisting with estimating, takeoffs, and project planning
- Coordinating materials, equipment, schedules, and manpower
- Training and leading additional commercial plumbing team members as we grow
- Communicating professionally with general contractors, project managers, inspectors, vendors, and customers
- Helping turn our current commercial workload into a full-scale division
What We’re Looking For
- Strong commercial plumbing experience
- Ability to work independently and lead others
- Experience with rough-in, underground, finish work, fixtures, water, waste, vent, and commercial systems
- Ability to read blueprints and understand commercial job requirements
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A leadership mindset
- A desire to grow with a company and help build something from the ground up
- Pride in quality workmanship and professionalism
Commercial estimating, project management, or foreman experience is a major plus.
