Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager/Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional customer service, managing daily store operations, and leading sales initiatives. Duties
- Greet customers warmly, providing expert product knowledge and personalized service to enhance their experience
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system transactions
- Lead and supervise sales associates, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing team
- Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing accuracy, and inventory control
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees
- Coordinate promotional activities and marketing initiatives to boost sales and customer engagement
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail or hospitality management
- Strong skills in customer service and managerial communications
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively with supervisory experience in retail or hospitality fields
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Proficiency with basic math and cash handling a must
- Experience with recruiting, training & development, payroll processing, and operational management is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of retail math concepts such as pricing strategies and sales analysis is also beneficial
- Nights, Weekends, and Holiday availability are also a must since we do upwards of 75% of our sales during those time periods
- This is a tipped position as well and tips here are excellent and currently tax free
