About the Role:
Join Montessori Kids Universe Cameron Square as a Montessori Lead Teacher for ages 3-6, where you will inspire young minds in a nurturing and engaging environment. We are looking for passionate educators who are dedicated to fostering creativity and independence in our students.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a Montessori curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 3-6.
- Facilitate a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Observe and assess student progress, providing individualized support and feedback.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Maintain classroom materials and resources, ensuring they are organized and accessible.
- Lead group activities that promote social skills and teamwork among students.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with Montessori practices.
- Engage in community outreach to promote the values and mission of Montessori Kids Universe Cameron Square.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Montessori certification for ages 3-6 is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a Montessori setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with children and families.
- Passion for child-centered education and a commitment to fostering independence.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Positive attitude and a nurturing demeanor to support student growth.
