We're hiring Guest Service (Hotel Front Desk) Agent for our stunning beachfront hotel (www.beachterraceinn.com).
Our Guest Service Agent responsibilities include answering multi-line phones, taking reservations, checking guests in/out and assisting guests with all inquiries. Applicant must have basic computer and math skills, must be able to multi-task, be organized, very detail oriented, able to work under pressure, have the ability to solve problems in a professional manner, and to perform other duties assigned by the Hotel Manager. A neat and professional appearance and a passion for guest services are required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
This position requires the ability to work hours between 7 am to 10:45 pm and Occasional grave yard shifts 10:45 pm-7:15 am.
This position also requires full availability on weekends and holidays!
The qualifications for the Front Desk Agent position are:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Computer and math skills.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
- Pleasant and positive telephone demeanor is a must.
- Ability to clearly communicate in English with guests and co-workers in person, via telephone, and in writing is required.
- Prior PMS Cashiering experience is required.
- Bilingual skills helpful, but not required
