Electrical Engineer – Designer
This job is for beginning Electrical Power Engineer interested in learning power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm for commercial, institutional, and renovation construction projects. While not required, it is strongly desired the candidate hold an Engineering Intern (EI) certificate and have a strong, sincere interest in obtaining his/her registration as a Professional Engineer, (PE). The successful candidate must be wil ling and able to uti lize AutoCAD as a tool for the preparation of building plan documents. The candidate wi ll learn over time how to assemble construction document packages consisting of plans and specifications for construction of electrical systems for large buildings. The candidate will learn to coordinate and work closely with firm clients. Therefore, the candidate must also command strong writing and oral communications skills.
