Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
Your Role:
As the Human Resources Manager, you'll oversee the full scope of HR operations on property, acting as a strategic partner to department leaders while serving as an advocate for team members. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Partner with department leaders to address staffing needs, performance management, and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data.
- Administer benefits enrollment, leave of absence requests, and workers' compensation claims.
- Lead investigations into employee relations issues, providing recommendations and resolutions.
- Coordinate and deliver new hire orientation, training programs, and ongoing team member development initiatives.
- Support a positive workplace culture through employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and open communication channels.
- Oversee payroll-related HR functions, ensuring accuracy in coordination with Accounting and Payroll.
- Manage unemployment claims, workers' compensation, and safety program compliance.
- Prepare and present HR metrics and reporting to hotel leadership as needed.
- Participate in required M.O.D. program as scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of progressive Human Resources experience required, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Prior supervisory or HR generalist experience preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a 2 to 4-year college degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- PHR/SHRM-CP certification a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Must be proficient with Windows operating systems and HRIS platforms.
- Flexible availability.
