AP Specialist
Our manufacturing client is seeking an AP Specialist for a full-time, temporary role. This role has the potential to become a permanent position. If you have at least 2 years of experience, then we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities of the AP Specialist
- Process vendor invoices in a timely, accurate manner
- Update data and maintain files
- Generate weekly check and ACH runs
- Send ACH remittance information to vendors
- Help research and resolve discrepancies
- Perform additional tasks as required
Qualifications of the AP Specialist
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance preferred
- 2-4 years of AP experience
- Proficiency with MS Excel and Word, with knowledge of accounting software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain flexible amidst changing priorities
- High degree of discretion and confidentiality
