Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable 26ft. Box Truck Driver / Appliance Installer to join our dynamic field service team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver and install appliances at customer locations. Your expertise in appliance delivery, appliance installation, and knowledge will ensure each installation is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving with hands-on appliance setup, providing exceptional service and support to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26ft. box truck to transport appliances to residential and commercial sites
- Install, assemble, and troubleshoot appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ranges according to schematics and technical specifications
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for proper installation and repair procedures
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain installation processes and answer questions
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including service reports and delivery logs
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or field service technician, preferably with appliance delivery & appliance installation experience
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and clear communication skills
- Familiarity with assembly processes for appliances
- Knowledge of electrical systems related to household appliances is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a 26ft box truck with lift gate is a must
