Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and resolving any issues promptly
- Clear tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area to ensure a tidy environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery for optimal guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Demonstrated ability in food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols
- Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and check splitting
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn food preparation basics is appreciated
