Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Flooring Sales Specialist to join our team! Responsibilities
- Engage with customers inside the store and through outside sales efforts to understand their flooring and renovation needs
- Conduct product demonstrations, including lighting and interior design options, to showcase features and benefits effectively
- Build strong customer relationships through personalized service, upselling premium products, and providing expert advice on flooring, lighting, and fixture selections
- Negotiate deals confidently, close sales efficiently, and handle cash or POS transactions accurately
- Assist clients with remodeling & fixture sales by offering technical insights on construction materials and maintenance requirements
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions using CRM systems and ensure timely follow-up for repeat business or referrals
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales within retail or construction-related industries such as flooring, remodeling, or interior design
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-end sales in a competitive environment
- Knowledge of construction processes, renovation techniques, lighting design, and maintenance practices is highly desirable
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills are advantageous
- Prior experience in retail sales involving remodeling & fixture sales or construction sales is preferred
