We are seeking a highly motivated, aggressive Sales Representative who thrives in a competitive environment and is driven to exceed sales goals. The ideal candidate is a relentless prospector who isn't afraid to make cold calls, pursue new business, and close deals. This individual will build and maintain strong customer relationships while consistently identifying new opportunities to grow market share. Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, confidence, persistence, and a "hunter" mentality. The Sales Representative will be expected to generate new business, manage existing accounts, negotiate pricing, and deliver outstanding customer service while achieving and surpassing monthly and annual sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Aggressively pursue new business through cold calling, networking, job site visits, and referrals.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, builders, and commercial customers.
Identify customer needs and provide solutions that maximize value and profitability.
Meet or exceed sales quotas, gross margin goals, and key performance metrics.
Prepare accurate quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities.
Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities within the CRM system.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Self-motivated with a competitive, results-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Experience in construction, excavation, underground utilities, or building materials is preferred.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
