Duties
- Engage with customers through outside sales efforts, identifying their needs and presenting tailored solutions
- Conduct retail sales activities by demonstrating products and explaining features to maximize customer interest
- Utilize negotiation skills to close deals effectively while ensuring mutual satisfaction
- Manage sales administration tasks, including processing transactions, updating records, and maintaining accurate documentation
- Apply analysis skills to assess customer data and market trends for targeted marketing strategies
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless service delivery
- Support benefits administration by explaining available programs and assisting clients in understanding their options
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA when handling sensitive information
- Assist with telemarketing campaigns to generate leads and promote new products or services
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments demonstrating strong persuasion skills
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities preferred to serve diverse client bases effectively
- Familiarity with sales administration tools and CRM systems is advantageous
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with a broad audience
- Experience in insurance sales or related fields is a plus but not required
- Ability to analyze market data and customer feedback to inform sales strategies
- Prior exposure to marketing initiatives or benefits administration is beneficial but not mandatory
