Job Overview

Duties
- Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and professionalism as they arrive
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently using POS system (Aloha)
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and reduce wait times
- Answer guest inquiries via phone with courteous phone etiquette and provide accurate information about wait times or menu options
- Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure all guest areas are welcoming and inviting
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills
Skills
- Prior experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant environments (Experience preferred but not necessary)
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest services and restaurant operations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette and guest relations expertise
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, weekends, and holidays
