We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Custom Wall Padding Specialist to assist in the fabrication, and/or installation of high-quality, wood-backed, removable wall padding systems. This role focuses on producing and customizing protective padding solutions for gyms, athletic facilities, schools, and commercial spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience with materials such as plywood, foam, vinyl, and mounting hardware, as well as the ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate custom wall padding solutions based on client specifications.
- Construct wood-backed panels using appropriate materials and tools (e.g., plywood, foam, vinyl covering).
- Ensure padding is designed for safe, removable installation on various wall types.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials accurately.
- Coordinate with installation teams to ensure product fit and functionality.
- Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the fabrication process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Experience in carpentry, upholstery, or custom fabrication (preferably in padding or protective equipment).
- 2+ years in construction industry
- Strong understanding of materials like plywood, high-density foam, vinyl, and industrial fasteners.
- Ability to use a variety of fabrication and installation tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor.
Preferred Skills:
- Upholstery or fabric-seaming experience is highly desirable.
